Street Portraits

One of my ongoing projects is street portraiture using post-it notes and whatever pen happens to be lining my pocket. For a while, I was only interested in drawing panhandlers, meaning I'd exchange change for their modeling. Today, I messed a bit with the non-panning Eaton Center crowd. Realize this: if people are ALREADY waiting, then there's no harm in me drawing them while they proceed with their waiting. It sounds good on sticky pad, doesn't it?

More on this later-- this game is headed for the Gladstone tomorrow night for some art attack disruption.
